Dominic wines is based in the Riverland region of South Australia. The Riverland boasts a Mediterranean climate, long hours of sunshine and fertile soil which provide excellent conditions for the creation of quality reliable wine.
Located just 2.5 hours drive north east of Adelaide on the Murray River. The Riverland is the largest growing wine region in Australia and is responsible for almost a third of Australia’s total production.
With the vintage period generally running from mid-January to late April, the region is renowned for its generous fruit driven wines produced to compliment the relaxed and enriching lifestyle residents of the region enjoy.
The Riverland is known for its love and delivery of wine innovation, its quality and consistency of favourites such as Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and many other international varieties Australia’s longest river the Mighty Murray travels through the Riverland and is the life blood of the vineyards as it winds its way through rugged outback landscapes and stunning limestone cliffs.

Famous for its Shiraz the Barossa Valley is one of the world’s best known wine regions. Located just 70 km north east of Adelaide and bordering the Riverland the Barossa encompasses both the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Dominic wines have long standing agreements with a number of key growers in this region.
The Coonawarra region is world renowned for producing exceptional red wines. Located 380km southeast of Adelaide, its secret lies in a marriage of rich red terra rossa soil, limestone, pure underground water and a long cool ripening season for the grapes. Dominic Wines believes incorporating a hint of Cool Climate goodness gives their wines that something extra.
The cool climate region of Langhorne Creek, just 70 km South East of Adelaide, South Australia, produces some of the finest fruit in Australia. The area was founded on the broad flood plain influenced by the local Bremer and Angas Rivers and dominated by magnificent River Red Gums. Dominic Wines appreciates the earthy quality of fruit that comes from the Langhorne Creek area.
The Adelaide Hills wine region is located in the Mount Lofty Ranges east of Adelaide. Stretching in a narrow band approximately 70km long, the highest vineyards are sited between 600-650 metres altitude. Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are particularly well suited to the cool conditions of the region and the Dominic Wines Sauvignon Blanc is truly of exceptional quality.
