The grapes are harvested in small batches from vineyards selected for their old age and provenance.
Fermentation takes place on the dark, rich skins of the grape, resulting in the wine’s intense dark ruby colour. Production volumes are strictly limited.
Complex, aged aromas of leather, oak, prunes, black pepper and cardamom spice marry together to enhance the tannin structure of the wine.
Great with roasted game or poultry.
